This Pelham Bit features a straight mouth and operates as both a direct action and leverage bit. The pelham has three rings on the shank used for the headstall and curb chain, center for the first rein and the third ring is for the second rein. This allows for direct action with pressure on first rein and leverage with pressure on second the rein.
