Stainless steel jointed pelham bit with 130mm cheeks
The pelham bit is best used with double reins. The snaffle rein is in direct contact with the horse’s mouth while the curb rein applies poll pressure to push the nose towards the chest. The two reins can be transferred to one rein through a rein connector which is ideal for children and ponies. The bit can also be used with just a single rein, either at the snaffle ring or the curb ring, depending on the desired action.
