PURPOSE:
Haven of Hope offers horse riding and interaction with horses free of charge for individuals with disabilities or special needs who would otherwise never have the opportunity. This is accomplished in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere through assisted riding, group riding, and activities such as horse grooming or painting.

We also accept riders who have experienced trauma and might benefit from horse connection.  Small groups from underserved communities are also welcome to spend a few hours among the horses and experience the healing effect of these magnificent creatures.

IMPACT:
Horse riding benefits special needs children on all levels – physically, mentally and emotionally.  The impact that horses have on special needs individuals has been well documented for the development of:
