Epsom Salts (Magnesium sulfate) is useful a useful mineral with numerous benefits. Due to its saline properties, it can be absorbed into the skin, as well be used to treat colics and hoof abscesses.

It can be added to the horses feed to provide a supplemental source of Magnesium where required, to maintain normal muscle, nerve and gut motility functions.

Apply a damped wrap sprinkled with Epsom Salts for inflamed legs and muscles.  Soak hoof abscesses in  warm Epsom Salt diluted in water to reduce inflammation in the hoof.
